Overview
VPI’s CAT8 cables are capable of reaching up to 40Gbps transfer speeds and up to 2GHz bandwidth. These CAT8 patch cords consist of 4 pairs, 24 AWG stranded copper conductors and RJ45 connectors. Cat.8 patch cables are backwards compatible with Cat.5E, Cat.6, Cat6A, and Cat.7.
- Category 8 S/FTP 4-pair 24AWG stranded pure copper cable.
- Max bandwidth: Up to 2,000 MHz (2GHz).
- Max data rate: Up to 40Gps
- Backwards compatible with all CATx categories.
- RJ45 plug with 50 micron gold plated contacts.
- Patch cables & boots are the same color; boots are snagless.
- Overall foil shield around the four pairs protects signals from external noise.
- Available lengths: 1/2/3/5/7/10/15/25/35 feet.
- Available colors: Gray, Black, Blue, White.
- Complies with TIA/EIA 568B standard.
