AURORA, OH: Video Products Inc today announced the addition of a CAT7 Flat Stranded Bulk Cable to its popular line of network cables. This shielded Category 7 cable is ideal for running across a room hidden under carpet or for use in tight spaces, where regular Ethernet cable is too bulky.
VPI's CAT7 Flat Stranded Bulk Cable supports full and half-duplex operations, and is tested for electrical performance. The cable features stranded copper conductors for flexibility, which is great for frequent changes that occur at the wall outlet or patch panel. The flat 32AWG cord has a thickness of only 0.098" and a width of 0.299", which gives a neat appearance to desktops and wall outlets.
Use the CAT7 Flat Stranded Bulk Cable to connect a network card to 10GBase-T Ethernet, 1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet, 100Base-T Ethernet, 100Base-TX Fast Ethernet, or 10Base-T Ethernet. Individually foil shielded twisted pairs and one drain wire protects signals from external noise. The bulk cable comes in black and is 984 feet (300 meters) long.
