Aurora, OH: Video Products Inc (VPI) today announced the addition of the HDMI Active Cable with Signal Booster to its popular line of video cables. The cable features a built-in signal booster, which enhances the video signal without the use of an external power source.
The HD-ACT-xx-MM cables support 4K@60Hz 18Gbps to 60 feet and 4K@30Hz 10.2Gbps at 75/100 feet. HDMI features supported include: up to 48-bit Deep Color; RGB, YCbCr 4:4:4, and YCbCr 4:2:2 color formats; Dolby, DTS, and LPCM 2/5.1/7.1CH audio formats; CEC support; ARC support; and 3D.
The embedded chipset boosts the signal from the source, making the cable ideal for connecting a 4K display at longer distances than a standard HDMI cable.These cables feature HDMI Type A male connectors, and are directional with labeled connector ends for the source and display.The HDMI cords are available in lengths of 20/25/30/40/50/60/75/100 feet.
