Overview

The 4K DisplayPort USB KVM Switch allows a user to control two Ultra-HD 4Kx2K 60Hz 4:4:4 DisplayPort USB computers with one USB keyboard, USB mouse, and 4K DisplayPort monitor.

  • Supports Ultra-HD 4Kx2K resolutions to 3840x2160 @60Hz YCbCr 4:4:4, and HDTV resolutions to 1080p @144Hz.
  • Control the switch through the front panel button, keyboard commands, or remote switch button.
    • Remote switch button on integrated 6.56-foot cable included.
  • DisplayPort features supported:
    • DisplayPort 1.2
    • Multi-Stream Transport (MST)
    • Up to 30-bit Deep Color
    • RGB, YCbCr 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:2:2
    • Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master, stereo audio.
    • Bandwidth up to 21.6 Gbps
  • HDCP compliant.
  • Supports USB-enabled computers (PC, MAC) with DisplayPort video.
  • MST support allows multiple DisplayPort monitors to be connected together from one monitor port on the switch.
    • Resolution dependent on number of daisy-chained monitors – cannot exceed 21.6 Gbps.
    • Requires DisplayPort 1.2 compliant PC. (MACs not supported)
  • Two USB ports for keyboard and mouse.
  • EDID pass-through supported.

Note: When switching between computers, the screen layout will not be as you left it – all open windows will be pushed to the top left corner of the main display.

    • Control Methods

    Front Panel

    • Interface LEDs indicate currently selected port.
    • Press the button on the front panel interface to switch between ports.


    Remote Switch Button

    • Female 3.5mm port for connecting included switch button.
      • Cable length: 6.56 feet (2 m).
    • Press the button to switch between ports.


    Keyboard

    • Use keyboard hotkeys to command the switch to select ports.
      • Double press "Scroll Lock" quickly and then press "1" or "2" to switch between ports.
