Aurora, OH: Video Products Inc (VPI) today announced the addition of the USB 2.0 Sharing Switch to its popular line of USB devices. The switch enables four computers to share one USB 2.0 peripheral device such as a printer, scanner, thumb drive, or hard drive.
The KEEMUX-USB-4 supports high-speed (480 Mbps), full-speed (12 Mbps), or low-speed (1.5 Mbps) USB devices. It is compatible with USB computers (PC, MAC), supports Plug-n-Play specification, and features transparent USB connection. The switch is powered by the host computer and does not require drivers to be installed.
The USB 2.0 Sharing Switch is controlled by using the front panel buttons. Connecting a USB hub to the switch enables multiple USB devices to be shared among the four computers.
Available for immediate sale, the KEEMUX-USB-4 USB 2.0 Sharing Switch costs $16.50.
