Aurora, OH: Video Products Inc (VPI) today announced the addition of the Ultra Low-Cost VGA + Audio to HDMI Converter Cable to its popular line of video converters. The converter connects a VGA computer to an HDMI video monitor or projector.
The Ultra Low-Cost VGA + Audio to HDMI Converter Cable changes a computer's analog VGA and stereo audio signals to a single HDMI stream with integrated audio. The converter generates the compatible analog to digital conversion signals to make the connection between the VGA input and the HDMI output work.
The VGAA-HD-ULC supports HDTV resolutions of 1080p, 1080i, and 720p. Embedded digital audio is supported through HDMI compatible TVs or audio receivers. With plug and play functionality, no new software or drivers are required to use the converter.
The converter features one female 15-pin HD connector for VGA input; one 3.5mm stereo audio jack for audio input; one female HDMI port for HDMI output; and one male USB Type A connector for power. With a cable length of only 8 inches, the converter provides a compact solution for converting analog audio and video signals into digital HDMI.
