Aurora, OH: Video Products Inc (VPI) today announced the addition of the Gigabit Power over Ethernet (POE) 12V Splitter to its popular line of network devices. The POE Splitter divides an Ethernet connection into separate data and power connections, allowing POE devices to connect to and power non-POE devices.
The ST-POE-12V splits network signals into a separate data signal and 12V DC power. It has a DC power output of 12V, an input voltage of 48V, and a POE port output of 12W.The splitter can be used with a POE power source, and can supply power and data to non-POE devices. The device transmits up to 328 feet on a CAT5e or above cable, is 10/100/1000Mb compatible, and IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.3at compliant.
The POE 12V Splitter is ideal for dividing network signals and DC power to non-POE cameras and devices. The no noise and compact design makes the splitter perfect for use at desktops or on walls.
