Aurora, OH: Video Products Inc (VPI) today announced its HDMI Switch with Built-In Splitter now supports Ultra-HD 4Kx2K resolutions. The switch simultaneously displays the same Ultra-HD 4Kx2K 60Hz image from one selected 18Gbps HDMI video source on two monitors/TVs.
The 4K 18Gbps HDMI Switch with Built-In Splitter enables two displays to be switched between two HDMI sources. It supports Ultra-HD 4Kx2K resolutions (4096x2160 and 3840x2160 @60Hz YUV 4:4:4) and HDTV resolutions to 1080p.
The SE-HD2-2-LC eliminates the need to disconnect and then reconnect multiple HDMI sources, and is ideal for home theater systems, digital signage, tradeshows, or classrooms where high quality video on multiple displays is needed.
HDMI features supported on the switch include: HDMI 2.0a; RGB, YCbCr 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:2:2, and YCbCr 4:2:0; 36-bit Deep Color; LPCM, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby-AC3, DTS, and DTS-HD; Bandwidth up to 18 Gbps; HDR; and 3D. The unit is HDCP 2.2 and 1.4 compliant, features plug and play functionality, and can be controlled via the front panel button or infrared remote (IR) control.
