Aurora, OH: Video Products Inc (VPI) today announced the addition of the 2-Port 8K DisplayPort USB KVM Switch to its popular line of KVM Switches. The switch allows a user to control two DP computers with one USB keyboard, USB mouse, and 8K DisplayPort monitor.
The 8K Displayport USB KVM Switch allows a user to control two Ultra-HD 8K 4320p 30Hz DisplayPort USB computers with one USB keyboard, USB mouse, and 8K DisplayPort monitor. The switch supports resolutions up to Ultra-HD 8K (7680x4320) @30Hz, 4Kx2K (3840x2160) @60Hz, and HDTV 1080p @144Hz.
The KEEMUX-DPUSB-2 supports USB-enabled computers with Windows OS and DisplayPort video. The DisplayPort features supported include: DisplayPort 1.4; 30-bit Deep Color; Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master, and stereo audio; RGB, YCbCr 4:4:4, and YCbCr 4:2:2; and bandwidth up to 32.4 Gbps. It is HDCP compliant and supports EDID pass-through.
The 8K DisplayPort USB KVM Switch supports Multi-Stream Transport (MST), which allows multiple DisplayPort monitors to be connected together from one monitor port on the switch. The switch features four transparent USB 2.0 ports for connecting USB devices such as keyboards, mice, printers, game controllers, USB flash drives, touch screen monitors, whiteboards, etc. The DP switch is controlled through the front panel button or included remote switch button that is integrated on a 6.56-foot cable.
