VPI Now Offering Waterproof HD15 and Waterproof LC Duplex Fiber Optic Connectors

AURORA, OH: Video Products Inc (VPI) today announced the addition of Waterproof HD15 and Waterproof LC Duplex Fiber Optic Connectors to its popular line of waterproof connectors and accessories.
VPI's waterproof high density D-Sub HD15 backshell kit and waterproof panel mount HD15 solder cup connectors are designed to withstand harsh industrial or outdoor environments. Solder cup contacts accept a maximum wire size of 20 AWG, and the backshell kit accepts a wide variety of cable diameters, allowing for field installation in factories or other industrial areas. Gasket seals provide IP67 rated water and dust protection.
The waterproof LC duplex fiber optic cable side shield features a duplex cable gasket allowing for pre-terminated fiber optic patch cables to slide in easily. Simply tighten the sealing nut to achieve IP67 waterproof protection. The LC duplex fiber optic panel mount mating connector couples two male LC connectors together. Quick release quarter turn bayonet locking connects the cable side shield with the panel mount connector, for easy connection/disconnection.
Available for immediate sale, the Waterproof HD15 connectors cost between $13 to $14 each, and the Waterproof LC Duplex Fiber Optic connectors cost between $8 to $16 each.
