VPI Introduces HDMI 1.3 / DVI Extender via CAT5/5e/6

AURORA, OH: Video Products Inc today announced the addition of the HDMI 1.3/DVI Extender via CAT5/5e/6 to its popular line of video extenders.
The HDMI 1.3/DVI Extender transmits digital video and audio signals up to 200 feet using two CAT5/5e/6 cables. Each extender consists of a local unit that connects to an HDMI source and a remote unit that connects to an HDMI display.
The extender allows you to easily connect local HDMI enabled computers, satellite receivers, etc. to remote HDMI displays. It supports HDTV resolutions to 1080i and computer resolutions to 1920x1200. It is compliant with HDMI 1.3 and HDCP 1.3 standards.
